"In the summer, cruise ships the size of small towns make their way up the Gastineau Channel and park at the Juneau docks--just outside the windows of the Hangar on the Wharf. It has had many reincarnations in its lifetime, but the latest has made it one of Juneau's most popular hangouts for the tourists and local 20 to 40 somethings. Seafood here id fresh and the portions are generous. Halibut tacos are a favorite, coconut prawns, jambalaya, and clams steamed in pale ale seem to be popular also. The Hangar serves beer too-- over 100 varieties-24 of them on tap."
